Administrative Support – GOA – FILLED

We are accepting applicants for clients with the GoA (Government of Alberta) to work as an Administrative Support. 

This position provides administrative support to the Deputy Minister as well as assisting the department with other general administrative and clerical duties.  The successful candidate must have the ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of the ministry while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Time management and organizational skills are important. Duties include managing calendar scheduling, monitoring email and responses, taking minutes, troubleshooting and handling projects as they arise.

The ideal candidate must have strong computer skills and must be able to adapt to a changing environment and priorities while meeting deadlines.   This position requires diplomacy and discretion. The individual must be cognizant of what information can be shared with whom. 

 Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • University Degree/College Diploma plus related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  •  Familiar with ARTS, Sharepoint, Images, Exclaim and other GoA computer programs
  • Experience working for the government is preferred but not a requirement
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment


This is a temporary full-time position that could possibly turn into a long-term position.  We offer $18-25 per hour depending on experience as well as 4% vacation pay. We pay our temporary staff on a weekly basis
