POSITION:  Analyst, Accounts Receivable

LOCATION:  Nisku, Alberta

HOURS OF WORK:  8 hours a day (Monday to Friday)

REPORTS TO:  Controller

The Analyst, Accounts Receivable will be responsible for activities related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable transactions, including customer payments and maintaining good customer relationships.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collections management for all customers;
  • Review and enter invoices into secondary online customer billing systems;
  • Reconcile customer accounts;
  • Review, code and post weekly billing as required;
  • Prepare and mail customer invoices for customers as required;
  • Process customer receipts on a daily basis;
  • Prepare and deliver bank deposits;
  • Prepare and mail customer statements for customers;
  • Process new credit applications including conducting credit checks and using judgment in approving credit;
  • Work with Front Desk team members and Managers, Lodging to resolve billing issues, including ensuring customer approvals are obtained in a timely manner where necessary;
  • Establish strong working relationships with customers and team members;
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures;
  • Such other duties that may be required that may fall within the parameters of the primary responsibility of the position.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 Diploma;
  • Minimum 2 years’ bookkeeping experience, accounts receivable experience preferred;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamic AX 2012 or similar accounting software;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point);
  • Experience with INNfinity is an asset;
  • Analytical and pays close attention to detail;
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task;
  • Ability to meet deadlines;
  • Reliable, honest, flexible;
  • Self-motivated/self-directed;
  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of the team through personal behavior, work contribution and sharing of expertise and knowledge;
  • Sensitivity and the ability to keep information in strict confidence;
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills coupled with the ability to interface and establish close working relationship with all levels of management; and
  • Possesses strong organization and planning skills, ability to rationally analyze information, follow-through on commitments, be proactive and calm under pressure of pending deadlines.
