Communications Manager – FILLED


We are looking for a Communications Manager for our non-profit client in downtown Edmonton. The Communications Manager must be able to work independently and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. Exceptional writing and editing skills are also a must, as are a very high level of accuracy and attention to detail.


  • Manage communication processes
  • Minimum two years experience in Project management
  •  Experience in marketing and/or communications
  •  Preferably a relevant degree, although not mandatory
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies such as social media and Internet marketing
  • Provide assistance in organizing marketing events
  • Ability to write at a high level (press releases, articles for trade magazines)
  • Write copy for marketing pieces
  • Ability to work with InDesign
  • Advanced user of all MS Applications
  • A good understanding of process management
  • Development of print and email marketing materials
  • Engagement marketing via social media and blog posts
  • Direct mail marketing and management of website content

Salary Range: $50,000 – $60,000 per annum depending on experience plus benefits. Company also offers every third Friday off each month plus 3 week vacation per year.
