Administrative Support 6 – Financial (Government of Alberta) FILLED

Our client, the Government of Alberta, is currently in need of an Administrative Support level 6, Finance Administration, to assist them in their fiscal year-end reporting.

This is a 2-3 months temporary position with the possibility of extension if needed.

The Administrative Support 6 must have strong financial background, including financial analysis, budgeting, account reconciliations, year-end processing and other financial reporting. Familiar with the provincial government processes and financial reporting is an asset.
Responsibilities may include preparing reports and financial data, as well as administrative support duties. This position requires strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ARTS, and other GOA programs. Also calls for flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. Experience working in the government is preferred but not a requirement.
