Land Administrator – Fort Saskatchewan, AB – FILLED

Our client in Fort Saskatchewan is a well respected full service land broker, focusing on pipeline, exploration, electrical and road projects. They are currently looking to fill a Land Administrator position.  This is a temporary position with a very strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

To be considered for this position, you must have a good working knowledge in all areas of surface land administration, with over five years of experience in a surface land administrator role is preferred. Ability to analyze and interpret different forms of data, such as survey plans, agreements and title searches and the willingness to learn new processes and procedures and to assist in all areas of surface land administration.

Must have attention to detail, with superb time management and organizational skills and excellent communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of all required documentation for the acquisition of right-of-way, work space, third-party consents, damage settlements, rent reviews, etc.
  • Ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements (ERCB, ASRD, NEB, OGC,etc.)
  • Preparing line lists; Analyzing and reviewing survey plans
  • Searching titles including fee simple, crown, conservation, corporate and historical
  • Preparation and filing of land title registrations, Crown surface applications, etc.
  • Data entry and preparation of various reports for projects
  • Working with other Land Administrators as well as Land Agents and Project Managers to ensure consistent results for our clients

Other Required Skills and Experience but not limited to:

  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Access
  • Commissioner for Oaths (Alberta)
  • Land Administration Certificate is not required, but would considered an asset
